The Diamond Ball Awards celebrates the achievements of young people of African and Caribbean heritage.
You may be surprised to learn just how well some of our young individuals are doing. Some winners of the Diamond Ball Awards achieved over 21 A- A* grades at GCSE, First class degrees and excelled academically and socially despite many setbacks.
The Diamond Ball Awards is committed to giving these young people a platform on which to shine!

Why a Ball?
The Diamond Ball Award is a black tie awards ceremony hosted at a prestigious London venue. We are sometimes asked why host a 'ball'? Quite simply because we believe that pursuit of academic and personal excellence should be recognised, celebrated and appreciated in style. Our young people need to know that we are proud of them. Likewise it is a perfect opportunity for their families, parents, teachers and role models to express their support.
The ceremony is always a memorable and fun night with lasting value for everyone who attends.
ACES Youth Project
The awards ceremony is hosted by the ACES Youth Project which provides workshops and programmes in schools, colleges and universities throughout London. The popular workshops are designed to raise the achievements and aspirations of young African & Caribbean individuals who are de-motivated, underperforming or on the verge of exclusion.
